Here is the contact for our recommended local taxi services (Kendal)
These are the following negotiated fees directly from the shuttle transport company:
Up to 4 people: $160 per shuttle
More than 5 people: $35 per person.

For daily shuttle to and from our facility to the town and or beaches we charge $10.00 each way pp per trip, we do have a minimum of 30.00 round trip.

The San Jose International Airport (Juan Santamaria) is a 4.5 – 5-hour drive.

If you choose to fly into San Jose, you can opt to: rent a car, take a bus, or fly the short flight on Nature Air or Sansa Air. Both terminals are near the San Jose airport and their flights are only a 45–50-minute trip to Nosara Airport (a 10-minute drive from us). However, they do have luggage weight restrictions, so please check the web sites to get all the information. If you are considering this route, an overnight stay in San Jose is suggested since variable weather conditions that affect the flights of small air crafts can make coordinating your connecting flight a bit tricky! *Please be informed that upon exiting the country (from either airport) you will be required to pay a $28 departure tax.

If you choose to rent a car from either airport, there are many options, Alamo, Budget, Economy, etc. These sites can be found online by googling them + Liberia, Costa Rica. We recommend you reserve your car when you purchase your airline tickets and confirm all car rental costs for what exactly is included. You can save some $$ by consulting with your credit card company (AmEx has a good program) regarding car rental insurance.

Please note: Our entrance is bumpy dirt road and steep, so we recommend 4 wheels drive.

How is the weather in Costa Rica?
Costa Rica generally has a tropical climate. Coastal areas tend to be hot and humid, with temperatures often reaching the mid to upper 80s Fahrenheit (around 27-32°C). In the highlands, temperatures can be cooler, with averages ranging from the mid-60s to 70s Fahrenheit (around 18-25°C).

The weather in Costa Rica can vary depending on the region and the time of year. Here are some general guidelines:

Dry Season (December to April): This is considered the high tourist season in Costa Rica. During this time, you can expect warm and dry weather with plenty of sunshine. Rainfall is minimal, especially in the Pacific coastal areas and central regions.

Green Season (May to November): This period is characterized by more frequent rainfall, especially in the afternoons. The country becomes lush and green during this time, and while it can rain quite a bit, there are still plenty of sunny days. The Caribbean side tends to be wetter than the Pacific side during the green season.

Rainy Season (September and October): These months are typically the wettest in Costa Rica, with heavy rainfall and occasional flooding in some areas. Travelers should be prepared for rain if visiting during this time.

Remember that weather conditions can vary from year to year, so it’s a good idea to check a reliable weather forecast for the specific dates and regions of your Costa Rica trip to be well-prepared for your visit.
