Tierra Encantada sits in the protected jungles of Guanacaste, fifteen minutes above Nosara — one of the world’s five Blue Zones, where the land has been doing the work of restoration for centuries. Rivers, mountains, and 2,500 trees across the property form the foundation everything else is built on.
Our on-site biodynamic farm grows vibrant, chemical-free produce in harmony with the Earth’s natural cycles, guided by lunar calendars and regenerative practices. What we don’t grow here, we source locally and organically — keeping the nourishment as close to the land as possible.
Built with materials eco-conscious materials , our casitas are designed not just for luxury but for deep rest. For sleep that restores and mornings that begin with the sun and the breeze. Private, semi-private, and shared rooms create space to slow down and connect with the rhythm around you.
Led by Anne, a naturopathic doctor of thirty years, Vie Harmony works from within — meeting the body at the level of the nervous system, the cells, and the lymphatic and digestive systems. Every treatment is shaped around what your body actually needs, designed to restore, regulate, and remember.
The heart of Tierra Encantada — a space purpose-built for movement, ceremony, breathwork, and the deep work that retreats and immersions bring with them. Open to the surrounding land, it’s where stillness becomes practice and where the body meets the environment most directly.
Beyond the casitas and the Shala, Tierra Encantada is woven together by the spaces where guests gather, rest, and move at their own pace — the kitchen and fire pit, the tipi, the pool, the gym, and the trails. Each is part of the daily rhythm, designed to support the process of returning to ourselves.

Tierra Encantada is woven into the living ecosystem of Nosara, working in collection with local farmers, land keepers, schools, and wisdom keepers. The food on your plate, the materials in our spaces, and the people you’ll meet all reflect the deeper truth that this place is rooted to where it is.
Days at Tierra Encantada follow nature’s movements. Slow mornings with first light, unhurried meals, evenings that close with the sunset. Living in alignment with these rhythms is one of the most invisible and powerful healing modalities: the radical act of moving with the pace your body was made for.

Tierra Encantada was built by Dan and Anne to create the conditions for that remembering. Not by adding more, but by creating an environment that allows the body to do what it already knows how to do.
