- All payments are strictly non-refundable.
- All prices listed on our website and in all documents are in US dollars and we must add the 13% Costa Rica taxes We accept USD payments in the form of PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, and Credit Card via a secure link or over the phone.
- Group rates do not apply during Holiday- Peak Season (Dec 15th – January 10th).
- A minimum of 7 nights and 10 guests + the leader is required to access group rates. All retreats/programs are starting with the arrival of your group on a Saturday and ending with the departure on a Saturday.
- We do not accept groups larger than 24 including facilitators.
- With a minimum of 12 guests, 2 facilitators stay courtesy of TE Includes all meals as long as minimum is met. Additional helpers can stay at 60% of the actual rate per helper (max 2 helpers) (Clients cannot be substituted for helpers and must pay full price
- Group rates are occupancy based (single, double, triple or quadruple) and we do not charge extra for our premium casitas. (For your convenience, 2 of our Casitas can be configured with either one king or four single beds, accommodating your group’s unique needs)
- Group rates are confidential and lower than our public rates allowing the leader to increase profits.
- Check in is 3.00 pm and check out 11.00 am, no check in after 9 pm as this is very disturbing for our clients.
- As a retreat facilitator you will be responsible for missing or damaged items in the kitchen, Shala or casitas like missing towels, broken items etc.
- We are not responsible for your valuables. We provide you a laptop-sized safe and it is your responsibility to keep your valuables there. You are fully responsible for your valuables.
- Tierra Encantada is a facility for adults only, the minimum age to visit the property is 16 years.
- For meals: we accept advance requests for chicken ($10pp) for fish ($12pp) two weeks prior to arrival.
- Our dining room closes at 7:30pm. Dinners that need to be serve after that time will incurred on a extra charge
- All participants and leaders are required to fill out our allergy forms. These must be returned to us no later than 2 weeks prior to arrival.
- All excursions and bodywork/spa treatments must be booked a minimum of 24 hours in advance. For excursions, payments are made directly to the excursion company.
- All facilitators and/or guests will be responsible for coordinating their own transportation.
- The guest is responsible for the full payment of any spa treatments booked that are canceled within 24 hours of the event
- We promote your retreat as a complimentary service on our website and social networks.
- With group rates, La vista Spa & Clinic services remain open to external guests.
- Code of ethics: The hotel reserves the right to refuse admission and remove from its premises any guest who does not behave within ethical manners and agreeable.
- Smoking: We are a non-smoking facility, evidence of smoking in the guest rooms or common areas will result in a $200 cleaning fee.
- You acknowledge and agree that whenever present on the Property or participating in an activity organized by Tierra Encantada neither you nor members of your party will be impaired by any substance, including, but not limited to, alcohol, cannabis, illegal drugs and other controlled substances. Tierra Encantada reserves the right to deny participation to anyone that appears to be in contravention of its Drug & Alcohol Policy without refund.
- You agree that Tierra Encantada is NOT a medical facility, and we do not give medical advice. You acknowledge you will be required to sign a Medical Waiver (next page) in the written form upon arrival to Tierra Encantada
- Tierra Encantada is not responsible for any disruptions, fluctuations, or outages in electricity supply caused by external service providers. Electricity problems in Costa Rica are common, and while we strive to ensure the best service possible, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted power.
- Tierra Encantada will make efforts to provide backup power solutions, including generators and alternative energy sources, to cover the essential needs of the event for a specific period of time. However, participants should be aware that these backup systems may have limitations and may not always sustain all activities. Participants are encouraged to use electricity responsibly and efficiently during the event. Avoid overloading circuits and use power-saving measures whenever possible to minimize disruptions and ensure a consistent power supply for all participants.
- Tierra Encantada may utilize external internet service providers to facilitate connectivity during events. While the Company will make every effort to ensure a reliable internet connection, participants should be aware that internet service quality can vary and may be subject to disruptions beyond our control.
- Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to their participation in the event, including any issues with external service providers.
