A container that matches the depth of the work you do.
Tierra Encantada is an immersive eco retreat center built for facilitators whose work deserves more than just a venue. The land, the food, the spaces, and the team move in service of the depth you came here to create.
You focus on the work. We hold the rest.
Everything your retreat needs.
Nothing it doesn't.
Tierra Encantada was designed from the ground up as a retreat sanctuary. Tucked into the hills above Nosara, close enough to be easily reached, far enough to leave the noise of the world behind.
Every element a retreat needs is already here.
The Shala for your practice.
The casitas for restoration.
The biodynamic farm for the food. Vie
Harmony Wellness Sanctuary for the deeper work.
The trails, the fire pit, the spaces for ceremony and gathering.
And a team that holds every operational detail so you can focus entirely on your participants.
There are no distractions. No competing energies. Just a complete container, set apart, built for the depth of the work you came to do.

Daily Rhythms
Tierra Encantada sits within the protected jungles of Guanacaste, fifteen minutes above Nosara — one of the world’s five Blue Zones. Surrounded by rivers, mountains, and thousands of trees, the property creates an environment where nervous systems soften, presence comes more naturally, and facilitators are supported by the land itself. The setting becomes an active part of the retreat experience, helping guests arrive more fully into stillness, openness, and connection.

Our biodynamic farm provides fresh, chemical-free produce grown in rhythm with the land, while additional ingredients are sourced locally and organically. Every meal is intentionally designed to support vitality, clarity, grounding, and nervous system regulation, allowing facilitators to offer a retreat experience where nourishment actively supports the emotional, physical, and energetic work taking place throughout the week.

Built with eco-conscious materials and immersed in nature, our casitas are designed around deep rest, simplicity, and integration. Open air, natural textures, and quiet surroundings create spaces where guests can decompress, sleep deeply, journal, reflect, and reconnect between sessions. A mix of private, semi-private, and shared accommodations also provides flexibility for different retreat formats and group dynamics.

Led by Anne, a naturopathic doctor with over thirty years of experience, Vie Harmony offers deeply restorative wellness treatments designed to support the nervous system, digestion, lymphatic system, and overall regulation of the body. For facilitators, the sanctuary becomes an extension of the retreat itself — providing guests with additional care, restoration, and individualized support that deepens the overall experience without requiring facilitators to hold every layer of the transformation alone.

The Shala is the heart of Tierra Encantada — an open-air gathering space designed for movement, meditation, ceremony, breathwork, workshops, and deep group work. Surrounded by the jungle and fully connected to the land, the space naturally supports presence, openness, and connection, giving facilitators an environment that feels intentional, grounded, and deeply aligned with transformational retreat work.

Beyond the casitas and Shala, Tierra Encantada is woven together through spaces that support both community and solitude — from the fire pit and pool to the trails, tipi, kitchen, and outdoor gathering areas. These spaces allow guests to naturally move between reflection, conversation, rest, and connection, creating the unscheduled moments where integration, relationship-building, and deeper transformation often unfold most naturally.

Tierra Encantada is deeply connected to the local community, working alongside farmers, builders, schools, land stewards, and local wisdom keepers who shape the spirit of the region itself. For facilitators, this creates a retreat experience that feels authentic, grounded, and connected to place — allowing guests to experience not just a retreat venue, but a deeper relationship with the culture, land, and community surrounding them.

Life at Tierra Encantada follows the rhythms of nature rather than the pace of modern urgency. Slow mornings, unhurried meals, sunsets, and the quiet rhythm of the jungle create an environment where guests naturally begin to regulate, soften, and reconnect with themselves. For facilitators, this slower pace becomes one of the most powerful and invisible parts of the retreat experience itself.

The Land & Blue Zone Environment
Tierra Encantada is surrounded by protected jungle, rivers, trails, and mountain overlooks within the Nicoya Peninsula Blue Zone region of Costa Rica — one of the world’s longest-living communities. The land itself naturally supports restoration, simplicity, nervous system regulation, and a slower rhythm of living that deeply complements transformational retreat work.

Facilitators receive access to professional photography, video assets, promotional materials, and optional visibility through Tierra Encantada’s website, newsletter, and social platforms to help support retreat marketing and audience growth.

Questions and answers.
How is a personal immersion different from a retreat?
A retreat is a group experience led by a facilitator with a set program. A personal immersion is a solo or small group stay shaped entirely around your individual needs. There’s no fixed program — only the rhythm of the land, the food, your treatments, and the path you came here to walk.
