Tierra Encantada sits in the mountains above Nosara, a fifteen-minute drive from the coast and surrounded by the protected jungles of Guanacaste and overlooking the pacific ocean, inone of the world’s five Blue Zones, where people live longer, slower, and more connected lives.

What we don’t grow here, we source locally and organically, supporting nearby farmers and keeping the nourishment as close to the land as possible.

Led by Anne, a naturopathic doctor of 30 years, this is where the deepest layers of the body are met directly — the nervous system, the cells, the lymphatic and digestive systems.
Modalities include cold plunge, lymphatic drainage, hydrogen inhalation, ioncleanse, light body contouring, neuroacoustic sound therapy, and our flower and jungle medicinal herbal tea bath.

The Shala is the heart of Tierra Encantada. A space purpose-built for movement, ceremony, breathwork, group practice, and the deep work that retreats and immersions bring with them.
Open to the surrounding land, the Shala is where the body and the environment meet most directly. Where stillness becomes practice. Where the work that happens inside is supported by everything around it.
